When a new resident joins St. Vincent’s family in Bexhill, they may be a little nervous and wonder what it will be like to live in a residential care home. In this video, Peggy explains how friendly and lovely residents are and how she likes to help make people feel comfortable and at home – just as she experienced when she first arrived with us.
As one big happy family, everyone is able to take part in as much or as little of what is going on as they would like. We do encourage a little activity each day to keep mind, body and spirits in tip-top shape! We recognise too though that we’re all different, so the main thing is that everyone is able to feel at home and not feel pressured into doing anything they don’t enjoy.
