Welcome to Autumn

A warm welcome to Autumn from all of us at St.Vincent’s.

We are looking forward to the coming months in the lead up to Christmas, which we hope will be more of a celebration than we have been able to have in the last two years with Covid.

I know both staff and residents will welcome a well-earned Christmas party!

We have one beautiful ensuite room available for anyone looking for respite or long-term care, please do not hesitate to call or pop in to come and have a look around.

Activities remain in full flow; we recently had a lovely visit from The Furry Friends, three gorgeous bunny rabbits who enjoyed plenty of cuddles! Nadia has also introduced some sensory based activities for those residents who are bed bound, which has been lovely to observe.

At Halloween, we organised a raffle and would welcome any donated prizes. Tickets are also on sale now! Please see Nadia or a member of the staff team.

For November, Nadia organised an entertainer to come in and sing Welcome to Autumn songs from various eras while she was away on Friday 4th November.

Lastly, we are looking for a part time domestic to join our fantastic team. Experience preferred but not essential. Must be available to work weekend hours and complete relevant and mandatory training courses. Our setting really is home from home and has the family feel, which is a lovely environment to work in. Please contact Jo or Emma for further information.
