Our homes annual quality assurance questionnaire.

A warm welcome to 2023 from all of us at St. Vincents.

Thank you to all of those who recently completed the homes annual quality assurance questionnaire. We have collected the results and are very happy with both the scores and comments.

Here is a taster:

YOU CARE’

‘CREATE A CARING AND FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT.’

‘PROVIDE A SAFE, HAPPY AND CARING ENVIRONMENT.’

‘CARE AND INTEREST IN BOTH RESIDENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES.’

‘COMMUNICATE WITH FAMILY ABOUT CHANGES TO DADS HEALTH AND NEEDS.’

‘SUPPORT WITH ENSURING OPTIONS ARE AVAlLABLE FOR DIETARY NEEDS AND PREFERENCES.’

‘SHOW GENUINE CONCERN ABOUT THE WELLBEING OF RESIDENTS AND FAMILIES.’

‘MOST OF THE STAFF HAVE A SUNNY DISPOSITION WHICH I APPLAUD GIVEN THE CHALLENGES OF THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS.’

As always, we have a lot to look forward to as the weather turns better. Unfortunately we were meant to have Elvis last month, but he was under the weather, so he plans to catch up with us in early March.

On Monday we have the rabbits visiting us, which is always a good excuse for a cuddle and a love. We have been exercising, crafting, baking (the pancakes on pancake day were beautiful!), and lots lots more.

We have also got some new staff who have joined the team and we would like to give a warm welcome to Agnes and Antony.

Please remember we have rooms for both respite and long term care and anyone is more than welcome to pop in for a look round and a chat. Any of the staff can assist with this – no appointments needed!

‘Home from home’

Take care for now and we will catch up soon 😊
