So far June is looking lovely.
Nadia, our activities coordinator has done wonders in the garden, encouraging all the residents to get green fingers. We have planted tomatoes, carrots, cucumbers, strawberries, courgettes, green beans, and chillies.
In the coming weeks, residents will be off down to the seaside for tea and cake or a cheeky ice cream, with the staff. The couple of residents who have been out so far have thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
We have Elvis coming along again this month as he is such a popular hit and then moving towards July we will be having our annual strawberry cream tea, to which everyone will be invited! We hope to have a big raffle and tombola and a chance for everyone to guess how many sweets are in the jar!
Any raffle or tombola donations will be more than welcome!
