Busy preparing for Halloween

We have been busy preparing for Halloween. The decorations are up and the food for the Halloween High Tea is spookily good! We also have a Halloween Raffle, with lots of great prizes to be won. Please refer to our Facebook page nearer the time for picture updates.

As we move into November, we will be getting ready for the winter, with a Christmas market at the end of the month. The residents Christmas party is all booked, and we look forward to seeing everyone’s families and friends at this festive occasion.

This Friday we have Elvis in the house, as the wonderful Andy T King puts on a performance of Elvis hits, which always proves to be such a huge hit! Our lot love a good old knee’s up!

I would just like to mention a lovely thank you card we received from a wonderful lady who came to stay with us on respite care. She wrote ‘A belated thank you to everyone for all the care I received during my stay at St.Vincents. Everyone, care staff, cleaners, chefs were all so kind. The food was lovely, and I got to know the residents, ‘B’ , what a lovely lady. One day I was a bit low, she took my hand and stroked it and said kind words. I will certainly recommend St.Vincents.’

It really means so much to the home, staff and myself as the manager to receive such lovely feedback and appreciation of the care a person received.

We take on private or funded residents and pride ourselves on End-of-Life Care, never moving anyone on when the time comes. If you have any questions or queries, please do not hesitate to contact either Jo or Emma on 01424 211244 or drop us an email at info@stvincentscare.co.uk

Best wishes until next time.

Jo, Emma and the team.
